Ealing is the western end of our coverage and a regular fixture in the diary. Based in East London. Covering all of Greater London.
W5 is dominated by substantial Edwardian family houses around the common and the Broadway, with 1930s semis filling the streets further out and a good stock of mansion block and purpose-built flats in between. These are big houses by London standards, which means big electrical installations: more circuits, more lighting, and more to go wrong when the wiring dates from a previous owner's era.
Rewiring large Edwardian houses
A five-bedroom Edwardian house is a different rewiring proposition from a two-bed terrace: more floors, more circuits and usually a family living in it throughout. We plan W5 rewires in stages, keep power on where we can, and wire generously because these houses reward doing it once and doing it properly.
1930s semis and their consumer units
The interwar semis around Ealing still turn up original or long-outdated fuse boards. A modern consumer unit with RCBO protection is a one-day upgrade, and we test every circuit as part of the job rather than swapping the box blind.
Mansion blocks and purpose-built flats
Ealing's mansion blocks bring communal supplies, older risers and freeholder permission processes. We work with managing agents routinely, and we bring flat installations up to standard without disturbing the rest of the block.
EV chargers and outdoor power
Driveways are common in W5, and we install EV charge points, garden lighting and outdoor sockets to match how these houses are actually used. Supply capacity in older houses is checked first, always.
